Doraemon Fancy Cookies

Hhmmm...Not sure if every one out there knows this character 'Doraemon', so I thought I'll take some time to introduce you to it :-)

Doraemon is actually a character in one of Japan's famous manga series. It is a robotic cat which practically have solutions to all kind of problems. It's sort of Japan's version of Inspector Gadget ( owhhh! you know Inspector Gadget, don't you? ), only that it's a robot :-P

To be honest, Doraemon is extremely famous in my country...For years the show has been playing on our local television. Heck! Even I watched the show when I was little :-P I just love how Doraemon simply managed to solve all sort of problems by taking out magic things from his pocket. He...he...Cute character indeed!

Now that I'm wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy much older, Doraemon seemed to be a distant childhood memory to me. I totally forgot about it until Ms. Farida called me up & requested a Doraemon theme fancy cookies. Suddenly I was transported back to my childhood time! :-)

Farida's request was for some chocolate butter cookies with Doraemon theme & as her order was a short noticed order, I decided to create Farida's cookies with some edible image of Doraemon. Here's how it turned out :-)

The look from Farida's face as she came to collect her cookies was truly priceless to me :-) She practically squealed with joy & even did a little happy dance! Ha...ha...It's the best feeling indeed to see how much joy your goodies could bring to someone. Best feeling EVERRRRRRR! *doing my own happy dance* :-)

To Farida, my sincerest of thanks for your order & for giving me the freedom to create your goodies :-) I had such a wonderful time making it! Thank YOU!

Well, that's all for now dearies. I still have a few post that I need to update so you'll be seeing me real soon ;-) In the meantime, a lovely day to all! Hugs! ✗o✗o

Every Day Is A Learning Process

Yes, the title above is actually my life's mantra...Every day is indeed a learning process for me. It really amazes me at just how many new things I can learn in a day! The learning process never stops for me - ever! From something complicated like the meaning of life ( am still wondering the answer to it though ) to something simple like I can actually use baking soda as a cleaning solution to clean stuffs :-P

Every day when I wake up from my beauty sleep, the first thing that will cross my mind is "what will I learn today?"...I'm just like a kid when I find new things to learn, especially when it comes to my passion - baking! I get all excited & at times I'll giggle non-stop! Really!

I was sort of that way recently when my dear friend, Edura, requested for some Elmo & Cookie Monster themed cookies :-P Mind you, fancy cookie making is sort of new to me. I think I do pretty well with cut cookies, you know those type of cookies that is cut out using cookie cutters. But cookie cutter patterns can be pretty basic & there really is not much choice available here. So it was quite impossible for me to find cookie cutters in the shape of Elmo & Cookie Monster.

Now, this is when I get to learn new things :-) Yup, after much googling ( there is such a word, right? ), I learned that I can pretty much create my own cookie cutters! Yipeee!

So here's the outcome of my "free-style" cookies :-P Do bear in mind that it's my first time trying this out so it looked pretty rough *guilty!* Hhhmmmm, with more practice & time, I'm sure I'll be able to master it ( hopefully! ) :-P

Chocolate Butter Cookies With Elmo & Cookie Monster Theme

Together with the cookies, Edura also requested for this Nuts 'Bout Nutella Cake :-)

Basic Nuts 'Bout Nutella Cake

To my dear Edura, thank you so much for trusting & allowing me to try out new things :-) Your support means the world to me! Thank you & I do hope that you've enjoyed the goodies. Big hugs to you my dear!

To my readers, remember, every day is a learning process. Bask & accept all the knowledge as it is precious!

Thank you for reading my post & much love to all! ✗o✗o

Baby Shower Cookies

Hhmmm...Handling last minute goodies request might not be a big deal to most cake makers / bakers, but for a novice like me, it's really a big deal! Oh yeah! A big, BIG deal indeed as being a newbie, I have yet to learn the tricks on how to get everything done in an orderly & smooth way :-P From preparing the items needed for each recipes, to setting the baking time & not forgetting the time needed for me to do the decorations. And yes, don't forget that I'm such a fussy person & with this minor OCD that I have ( Yup! I fuss over every micro little details! ), what took others just an hour to bake their goodies, it can easily turn to 2 - 3 hours for me! Not to mention the extra time I need to think up on the decoration ideas, which usually takes me some time since I'm the least creative person ever! :-P

Yes, I'm still soooo much a novice as you could obviously read from the above *blush* Imagine then my reaction when I received an S.O.S 'I-need-some-cookies-pronto' phone call from dear Surya :-P With panic of course! :-P By the way, imagine my panic times two! Why?!! As I'll be making my goodies for another great baker! Uh-huh, for your info, Surya herself is a great baker! Can't blame me for being panicky, rite? :-P

Anyway, Surya's request was for some baby-shower cookies which she would like to present to her mum-to-be friend & since I was so much in shock when Surya gave me the task, my body & brain simply went on 'auto mode'! Ha! Ha!...Auto mode is a time when I don't allow myself to think, worry, panic & anything of that nature :-P Instead, I just went to the kitchen & whipped up some cookies batter. Even the design was an impromptu one! It was what came to my mind at that moment, so I had no choice but to just stick to it :-P Had to since I wasn't spared any creative moment :-P I did however ran through my ideas with Surya, just in case she had some other ideas....And the best part is, all she said was, "I trust you & I know you'll come up with something, so just go ahead & do what ever you think best"...Auwwww, ain't she sweet!

In the end, these was what I did came up with...*blush*

Vanilla Butter Cookies

Huwaaaa!!! :-P

Baby Shower Cookies All Nicely Packed & Ready For Collection :-)

Peek-A-Boo! :-P

Truthfully, I was a little worried on how Surya would react to my cookies once she received it...Luckily my worry was put to rest when I received Surya's text. She simply lovessssssss it! Yeayyyyyy! Not only that, she even told me that all her friends was practically fighting over it :-P Phewwwww! What a relief! :-P

Surya & friends snapped some photos during the baby-shower party & they were kind enough to send me some of it :-) I truly love all the photos Surya sent me & practically begged her to allow me to share some of it here...Surya & friends, thanks sooooooooo much for making my cookies looked so pwettyyyyyy :-P

Sweet Surya...Loving This Photo!

Last but not least, Surya dear, thanks so much for your business....I truly appreciate it! Most important of all, thank you for trusting me to create your cookies :-) I heart you, sweetie!

All About Cookies

Hhmmm...Feels like it's been ages since I update my blog! Sorry goodies lover :-( Mama goodies has been super duper busy of late, rushing out tonnes of goody orders :-P I'm in between orders now & thought I'll grab the moment to pen down ( or should I say, type up? ) something ;-)

Today, it's gonna be all about cookies! Cookies...Boy! I sure love eating them! As far as I can remember, I've been a cookie junkie ever since my childhood years :-P I guess it started with all those ginger snap cookies my parents love to stock up in the kitchen as I was growing up :-P

Being a cookie lover, I usually purchased my cookies from the supermarkets. Yeah, all those Arnott's, Kjeldsens's & Pepperidge Farm's were my choices of cookies...But that was before I discovered my passion for baking :-P Now, ever since I discovered that I can bake ( a fact that I, myself still can't belief! ha..ha...*still pinching myself!* ), I'm just crazy over my home baked cookies. There's nothing yummier than a fresh home baked cookies, especially when it's hot from the oven :-)

I've been receiving a lot of request from my friends & followers via my Facebook & Emails, asking me for a list of my cookies that is available for purchase...So here it is ;-)

Peanut Butter Cookies

A recipe I especially created for my peanut butter lover honey bunny :-P Yup! It's full of peanut butter taste & not to mention loads of crunchy peanuts. It's like licking a spoonful of crunchy peanut butter, only it's in a cookie form :-P

Rock Cookies

A chocolaty cookie with an irresistible crunchy sugar topping. Another must for chocolate lovers!

Honey Cornflake Cookies

An addictive mixture of crunchy cornflakes with loads of peanuts & almond slivers coated with caramelized honey.

Butter Cookies

A crunchy & buttery cookies with various flavours to choose from - vanilla, lemon, orange or chocolate. I usually use this cookie recipe for all my fancy cookies order :-)

Ginger Cookies

A richly spiced ginger cookies for all the ginger lovers! I also use this cookie recipe for my fancy cookies order :-)

There are just so much more cookie recipes I wish to whip up...Unfortunately the time is quite envious of me & have yet to grant me some free time for me to play dough ;-) I'll keep you posted whenever I come up with new cookies flavour ;-)

Till then, have a cookielicious day all!

Double Joy

It was a double joy for me when I received Melissa's phone call a few months back ( told ya I'm way back-logged in my postings! *blush* )...

Joy # 1 - Receiving Melissa as Ritz Passion's new customer :-) Yeayyyyyy!! What an honour it was for me to meet her acquaintance :-) I love...love...loveeeeeeee meeting new people & making friends. Such a great feeling indeed!

Joy # 2 - Being able to make fancy cookies :-) Yup! It has been a while since I last made some, so when Melissa requested for it, I practically jumped for joy with the opportunity! :-P

Melissa's order was for a set of Ben 10's fancy cookies to celebrate her son, Rishon's, birthday. According to Melissa, Ben 10 is Rishon's favorite cartoon character & she would like something of that effect to be the cookies deco. So excited was Melissa over her order that one just can't help being infected in sharing her excitement :-P

Another thing that really touched me was when I found out that Melissa will be coming all the way from Petaling Jaya to collect her goodies ( nearly an hour drive to my place ). Being the mushy me ( yeah! I'm such a sappy person...and proud of it! *wink* ), I've decided to surprise her by printing Rishon's name on the cookies ;-) Just my way of thanking & showing my appreciation to her :-)

Hugs & thanks for dropping by all!

Lolly Cookies

Oh dear! It was a hectic few weeks for me recently...Totally running around like a mad woman preparing for the fasting month ( lots of cooking involved! ), setting up 'Ritz Passion' Facebook account ( took awhile as I've zero knowledge in all things techy! ), attending to chores...yada...yada...yada... :-P Hectic but nevertheless, I'm just grateful to be alive...

This post have been sitting in my 'draft box' for the past 2 weeks, waiting to be edited & upload...So hectic was my schedule that I couldn't even find the time to watch my tv!! And I'm a tv addict!!! :-P Missing my dose of Kimora: Life In The Fast Lane, House, Criminal Minds...and the list goes on :-P

Errr, where was I?!!! Oh yea...Lolly cookies :-P I've made these for Ms. M.E, who actually ordered on behalf of her colleague, Amy J...I think it was for their Department's gathering of some sort...Thanks M.E for your recommendation :-) Appreciate it!
