My Way Of Saying 'I Love You'

Different people have different ways of saying 'I Love You' to their loved ones...Some openly just say the words, some would shyly profess their love through a song/poem, some would go big by lavishing their loved ones with gifts or flowers...Me? Well, honestly, the best & only way I know how is by me cooking/baking my loved ones their favorite food :-)

Yes, my cooking/baking may not be a 5-star Chef grade but I do admit ( and proud of it too! tee...hee...hee... ) that each dish that I prepare ALWAYS come with a load dose of love *mushy moment*

Those who knows me well will know how much I love baking for my loved ones :-) Here's a Red Velvet Cake I did for one of my dear friend's house warming...

All The Cupcakes But Only A Photo To Show

To those of you who didn't know of my recent horrible incident, allow me to tell you...My hard-disk recently went berserk & with it, all my goodies photos were gone :-( It was such an upsetting thing & till date I have not managed to retrieve all the lost datas & photos. Bahhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Any way, here is one post where I only managed to find ONE ( yes, just one! ) photo of the goodies that I did for dear Ms. Izan. She actually ordered a three ( 3 ) sets of cupcakes for a family gathering. As usual, I did snapped all the goodies photos, which unfortunately was 'swallowed' up by my condemned hard-disk :'( Gosh! I seriously wish I could do something to get back all my photos *sobbing*

Izan's order was for a set of Orange Poppy Seeds cupcakes ( 16 pieces ), a set of Vanilla Strawberry & Vanilla Choc Chips cupcakes ( 30 pieces ) & a set of Candylicious Vanilla cupcakes ( 12 pieces ).

Yup, all those goodies & I only have one photo to post here :-( Boo hoo...I missed my photos! Here's the only photo I have of Izan's goodies...

Catching Up!

To say that my blog is a little bit back-logged is indeed an understatement! Honestly, it's way...way...wayyyyyy...and I seriously mean, WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back-logged! Heck! If all my posts in my draft box is a physical thing, I can guarantee that you'll see loads of dust & spider webs in it!

Seriously, time is just not something I'm blessed with these last few weeks/months...If you noticed, I haven't even managed to update my blog with any 2013 news/updates! *face palm*

I shamely admit that I am really THAT back-dated with my posts...Erkkkk!! So without further ado, allow me to quickly clear up my draft box with my 'quick version' of all the goodies that I've done or was commissioned with previously...Hopefully I'll manage to finish off posting some of my goodies news from last year :-P

To start off my 'quick version' posts, here's my first ever tiered wedding cake that I did for my dear cousin, Yani, whom commissioned me to do the cake for her BFF's wedding :-)

It's a 2-tiered Chocolate Moist cake & the color theme requested was white & silver. I was pretty nervous making this cake but thankfully my cousin, Yani, was ever so supportive and pushed me on...Thanks to her, I finally managed to conquer my fear & proceeded creating the cake for her :-P Thanks sweetie for being the wind beneath my wings! Muahhhhhhhhhhsss!

Picking Up The Pieces

Howdy there!

Yup, I'm backkkkk :-P After such a long time being away from blogging, I've decided that it's time for me to pick up the pieces & move on...

In case you've missed reading my earlier post, just let me give you a run-down of what had happened to me...

I was actually in the midst of compiling my blog's post when one of the worst thing that could happen, happened to me! *sobsss* Believe it or not, for the second time, technology has again beaten me down! My hard disk went berserk - AGAIN! I totally went crazy when it happened as all my data was completely kaput :-( Tried as I might ( I even went to a data recovery company! ), nothing could be retrieved from my hard disk *wailing loudly!* Yes, I still cry whenever I think of all the goodies photo that I've lost :-( Not only that, I even lost all my 'once in a lifetime' photos of my family...Everything is just gone!

Which brings back to the reason on why I was away from the blogging world...I just wasn't able to post anything :-( Couldn't imagine writing up of a post without my goodies photo to accompany it. I'm sure no one would enjoy reading a post without photos, rite? I mean, how boringggggggggggg would that be!

Any way, fret not as I've found a solution to my dilemma ;-) Yup! I've decided to continue updating this blog of mine with my usual goodies news :-) Where would I get all the lost photos from, you might ask? Well, obviously I can't do so...but thanks to the support of my sweet & understanding customers, I'm able to share some photos of my goodies which they so willingly send to me when they heard of my incident :-) Yeayyyyyyyy! Now at least I have some photos to share with you here ;-) Thanks so much dearies for sharing some of your personal photos with me. I am sooooooo grateful! Gee, I really have the best customers a.k.a goodies lovers ever! Muahhhhhhsss!

Sigh! I guess it's official now that technology & I DEFINITELY can't get along! After my last horrifying experience where my laptop crashed & 'swallowed up' ALL my data, I've decided to invest a good amount of money on a well branded external drive. This with the intention of making sure that my data will be stored & saved properly, without the chance of it ever being lost again. I just can't bear losing my data - it being all my business documents ( my costings, quotations, sales records...yada...yada...yada...) & most important of them all, my life's photos...

Yet, after all the investment & taking good care of my new hard disk, what happened?!! Of all the worst thing that could happen to me, my 'paid-much-but-didn't-help' branded hard disk ( which was supposed to be my safety net! ) went bonkers on me! It simply abandoned me & crash! Erghhhhhhhh!!

It's really upsetting that I've lost my data but losing my photos are the worst! Seriously, it's like my history are all wiped clean! All ( yes, all! ) my photos are gone! Photo of families, friends, not to mention photos of my goodies - kaput! *excuse me while I go to a corner & cry my eyes out*

Haihhhh! I'm still not over losing all my data & photos :'( But I thought I'll let you know on why I'm being off radar here. Wouldn't want you thinking I've abandoned this blog...

Hhhmmm...Nothing much for me to do other than to start all over again from square one, right? Give me some time & I'll definitely be back with some new posts & hopefully more goodies photos to share ;-)
