My blog just received it's 1,000th visitor!!! Truly did not expect that my blog will even have any visitors when I first started "Ritz Passion" :-P

Thanks to the encouragements & supports which I received from my family & friends, and of course YOU, my blog is gaining it's visitors...Hugs!!! And to convey my gratitude, a surprise will be waiting for Ritz Passion's 2,000th visitor!!...Yeayyyyyyyyy!! What's the surprise? Owhhh! Can't tell you now or else I wouldn't call it a surprise right? :-P Let's just say it's something from one of my baking products & will make your tummy happy ;-) So, start visiting my blog and try your luck...

• Proof of blog visit is required. Visitor is to 'Print Screen' the page stating that they are the 2,000th visitor & email it to ritzpassion@yahoo.com with their full name & contact numbers. Detail provided will be treated as private & confidential and will not be use by Ritz Passion in any other way.        

How to 'Print Screen':- 

1. Once you are on the page that stated you are the 2,000th Visitor ( see top left of Ritz Passion's blog page ), press the button/key 'PrtSc' on your keyboard.
2. Minimize your window & go to your 'Start Button' ( see bottom left of your screen ). Click that button/key and look for 'Paint'.
3. Click on 'Paint' and a new window will pop up. On your top left, you will see a 'Paste' icon. Click on that icon & your 2,000th Visitor page will be loaded.
4. Once this is done, proceed with saving the file by clicking the 'Save As' and name your file accordingly in JPEG file.
5. Email me the file together with your details.

• Gift is to be claim & self-collect from Ritz Passion. No deliveries will be provided.

Oh my!! I truly did not expect this!!...The "1,000th Visitor Contest" was posted at 1:54pm today and already we have a winner!!! Ritz Passion has found it's 1,000th Visitor!!!

With all the support from family & friends, and every one of you out there, my blog has been receiving countless visitors daily...This could not have happened without you guys and to thank each & every one of you for your continuous support, I decided to run a "1,000th Visitor Contest" ;-)

Hold on! Hold on...Be ware that it's not a fancy over the top kind of contest :-P but for the 1,000th visitor, I'll be baking a set of cupcakes from one of my new recipes ;-) So, start visiting my blog and try your luck...

Personalized Cookies

A special & personalized cookies for a special girl...This was ordered by my dear friend, Ms. ME for her daughter's birthday recently. Her daughter is also one of my many god-daughters & I adore her tremendously!

I had so much fun baking & decorating these cookies - ginger & chocolate flavors...Wanted to do my best for my god-daughter, Nana...I have to admit that my heart will always be filled with lots of love each time I bake my cakes & cookies, much much more when I'm baking it for my loved ones ;-)

Mom's Day Cuppies

Mr. KF, whom I fondly call 'Kerol' has always been one of the best buddy to work with during my working days at my former office...From a single man to being a hubby & now a father, our friendship still remains & I'm so thankful of that...He is just like a brother to me & I simply love his small family, his wife, Lia & honest to goodness, the most well behaved baby I've ever met, Baby K...Pardon the usage of their nicknames as I do not want to intrude their privacy ;-)

Them being such a special person(s) in my life, it's natural that I feel nervous when Kerol called me one day & wanted to order my cuppies to celebrate 'Mother's Day' & also to celebrate his brother's birthday...He infact put all his trust in my hand from choosing the cuppies flavor to decorating it...All he requested is that the cuppies suit both occassions...

To be on the safe side, I opted for a unisex kind of deco, what else if not garden themed :-P

To Kerol & Lia, thanks for allowing my cuppies to be a part of your celebration & I do hope it brought joy to you & your whole family....'Happy Mother's Day' Lia & to Kerol's brother, 'Happy Birthday'!

Love Is In The Air

Love is definitely in the air for me last week...What with 'Mother's Day', 'Teacher's Day' & tonnes of wedding invitations...I could really feel the loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ;-)

And in honor of those love & to celebrate all the love around me, I've baked some 'love cookies'...Not only I want to feel the love around me, I just have to 'taste' it as well ;-)

Comfy Cushion Cake

Let me tell you that a lot of stories go behind this particular cake...

1. It's one of my 'wish list' cake project...Been dying to try this out!

2. I've fallen in-love with this cushion cake deco & was interested to go for classes...The setback? After much browsing through the internet, I found out that the classes costs RM400-500!!! Meiyo chien ooo!! ( Translation : I've no money!! ) So I decided to just be 'brave & bold' & try it out on my own :-P

3. All of the technics that I've been wanting to learn, i.e. the 'sewing effect' deco, the trimmings etc, I actually "trial and error" on this particular cake :-P Was feeling pretty 'brave' at the time! He..he..

4. I'm lousy with flower decoration! Never know where to put it...Which flower to use...How to make it stand out...Yada...Yada...So this one is also another one of my 'wish list' project - To try deco a cake with flowers :-)

5. A few friends actually thought it's a cushion & not a cake!! I find this sooooooooooo funny cause they really thought I was snapping pictures of a cushion!!! Hhmmm, I took it as a compliment though as it mean I managed to 'dupe' them into thinking my cake is a cushion!!! :-P

Well, why not I let you be the judge & tell me if my 1st attempt on cushion cake deco is a success or not :-P Just don't be a meanie judge like Simon Cowell ( I adore him though! ) in American Idol...He..he...

Psst...By the way, this cake was made specially for my dear friend Mr. Aziz who's getting married a few hours from now...He's been such an angel during my working days as a PA before...He made all my traveling arrangements such a breeze & this is my way of saying thanks to him...Selamat Pengantin Baru Aziz!

Let's Bowl

Hhmmm...Always the kind of person who can't stand still, I decided to take this time to update my blog while waiting for my cuppies to bake in the oven...Yup! It's 3:45am but still...I get so restless when I'm not doing anything!! I guess that's where my nickname "Energizer Bunny" come from ehh?!! :-P

I had quite a 'down' week last week...Was down with fever & then had a bout of tummy ache, one of the down thing of being a girl :-( Thank god I'm feeling much much better now...I'm just thankful that though I was sick, I did managed to fulfill the orders that came in...Phew!!

Last week was also a special week for one of my strong supporter, Ms. SR. She got engaged to her special someone, Mr. JP...Congratulations dear! I'm sooooooooo happy for you! I also would like to say thank you for ordering my brownies to grace your  special occasion...SR had informed me months earlier about her brownies order...Told me her friends insisted she serves it on her special day...I'm ever so grateful ;-)

Apart from the brownies order, I did receive a kind of last minute request from my dear friend, Ms. RS...It's her son's birthday & she's hosting the party at one of the bowling alley in Petaling Jaya. Ever so eager to try out new things, I gladly accepted the order...Have to admit that I struggled a bit doing the deco but here are the outcome :-P
